Widrig Outfitters 97 Ltd. provides all equipment, horses, shelter, professional guides, transportation, advice, and all local logistical support to non-resident hunters who want to hunt in our outfitting concession. We provide a recreational service by utilizing the remote, pristine wilderness and wildlife resources of the concession area in a sustainable manner. The primary species hunted are moose, dall sheep, and caribou. Other species sought are grizzly, wolf, black bear, and wolverine. Fishing for lake trout and greyling are offered as part of our trip package.
We have two major base camp complexes, at Bonnet Plume and Goz Lake. Base camps have cabins, hot shower facilities, satellite telephone communications, a company super cub aircraft, and a full time cook. All hunts are by horseback.
